Before I could comprehend thought, I was speaking. I always had something to say. Something uplifting, something encouraging, something I thought the next person needed to hear. I never thought I could make a career out of this. I started doing live performances by a fluke. My freshman year of high school a really good friend of mine told me that the theatre department didn’t have enough actors for the fall play. I showed up to rehearsal and from there my journey in public speaking was a seed, planted. Shortly after, during my junior year, I began writing for the Journalism Department and joined the Speech and Debate Team. Amongst many categories I competed in, my most known and memorable performances were Poetry and Prose. Since then, I’ve written and performed my own original work for venues across Texas, Georgia, and multiple states across the East Hemisphere of the Nation. I have performed and put on workshops at multiple public high schools in the San Antonio Metropolitan Area. And I am eager and excited to continue this work that has found me. Hoping, to make a difference, every step of the way.
